You're in charge of a weekend late night service for those who've been out for the night, a feature of the Dusseldorf tram system. Beginning at Seestern in the Prinzenalle, you'll be taking your tram all stops to Graphics15 Platz where you'll use the wye to turn and make your way back all the way out to Loerick. There's a message at Graphics15 Platz to guide you (still in German, though). Basically, you'll turn off the main street, watching your Track Monitor until the curvy arrow disappears. Stop, shift to reverse, change ends (press 5) and move out again to the main street, watching the Track Monitor until the next arrow disappears. Note you'll be in the dark - headlights don't work in MSTS when you're driving from the number two end cab. Shift to forward and you can continue looking after your passengers until reaching Loerick. Current status: webTrainSim has solved the problem of the stop signal at Luegplatz. He's checked all paths and made sure all end points are a metre or so from the end of the track (placing the end point a small distance from the end of the line can solve or avoid signal problems - a Kevin Arceneux trick). As well, webTrainSim removed the loose consist trams placed at some platforms and replaced them with new paths and services. Everything is working ok but there could be more traffic so that will be in the next version. webTrainSim saved the original activity to a new ACT file (prefixed with wDTS) and hopefully he managed to do the same to the service before he'd made any changes so the original won't be effected. This activity has been compiled into a zip file with Route Riter so you can see what files you're installing. To download, see here. |
