  Annecy to Chambery
Departing Annecy.

You'll be bringing the Annecy TGV service down to Chambery, giving way on some occasions to the local Chambery-Annercy service headed by BB36002.

There are some steep downhill grades so test your brakes when you leave Annecy.

Use the Track Monitor to help reduce your speed when the signals indicate a lower speed. You'll be moving into some passing loops, and entry speed into each is 60 km/hr so watch for a reduction in speed firstly to 75 km/hr. Signals are not spaced at even distances so you could get a surprise!

On one or two occasions, the Track Monitor will indicate a 45 km/hr Restricted speed zone with a red aspect. Be ready to stop at the next signal!

Because you'll have to wait in some passing sidings for the Chambery-Annecy local, your schedule will be disrupted and you'll probably arrive at Chambery at about 1240.

Remember to sound the horn at each level crossing!

This activity has been compiled into a zip file with Route Riter so you can see what you're files you need to install.

To download, see here.

We wait in the passing loop at Marcellaz for the Chambery - Annecy local service to clear the line.
We wait in the passing loop at Albens for another Chambery - Annecy local service to clear the line.
  Rolling stock
Just a kilometre from the Aix-les-Bains station, we cross another Chambery - Annecy service.

Planned activities will use some or all of the following rolling stock.

Because there are no loose consists, you can use ConBuilder to substitute your choice of rolling stock.
